Thursday, July 24

-5 Peaks in 5 Weeks Challenge 

8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Recreation Center is offering a hiking fitness challenge open to anyone 18 and older. Register by calling the Rec Center at (775) 832-1310 and while you’re on the hike use #peakyouradventure on Instagram for a chance to win a $300 adventure package.

-Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival “As You Like It”

7:30 p.m.

Imagine your toes in the sand, a bottle of wine nearby, a gourmet meal in hand and first-class entertainment with your friends and family before you, all while basking in a perfect Lake Tahoe sunset. Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor State Park features great productions with stunning costumes and sets and talented actors.

Friday, July 25

-Hot August Nights – The South Lake Tahoe Experience

July 25-26

This event is known as the largest classic car event in the country. Hot August Nights includes Show-n-Shines with cash awards, vendors, a cruise around highway 50 and great free live entertainment.

-Train at the 2014 Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series at Harveys Outdoor Arena

7:30 p.m.

Train is an American pop rock band from San Francisco with hits like Hey, Soul Sister, Marry Me and Drops of Jupiter.

Saturday, July 26

-High Sierra Cruise Car Show

11 a.m. -4 p.m.

Come out and enjoy looking at cars. Lots of food and entertainment. The High Sierra Cruise Car Show is held at the Truckee River Regional Park.

-Annual South Tahoe Wooden Boat Classic at Tahoe Keys Marina & Yacht Club

July 25 – 26

The South Tahoe Wooden Boat Classic is presented each year by the Antique & Classic Boat Society of Northern CA/Lake Tahoe Chapter. See over 65 wooden antique boats.

Sunday, July 27

-Beth Weber’s Arts & Crafts Fair in Kings Beach

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

After a day at the beach, stroll though the Arts & Crafts Fair. All artists make their own products.
