School may be back in session, but the fun does not need to stop. The Tahoe region is looking forward to more fantastic temperatures this weekend. Despite little relief for the smoke, Tahoe and Truckee are finding several reasons to celebrate. Check out the list of events below to find out how you can help celebrate Labor Day weekend as well.

Thursday

Friday

Saturday

Let your competitive spirit run free on the M.S. Dixie II or The Queen Tahoe as they race along the Tahoe shoreline. The 21st Annual Great Lake Tahoe Sternwheel Race will begin boarding 10 a.m. Everyone abroad will be able to experience the rush of the race along with brunch and drink specials. Tickets cost $25. Make a stop at Heavenly Village Saturday-Monday for the Labor Day weekend sale and carnival.
